[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 26일 미사리마을회와 주민 20여명이 설을 앞두고 관내 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 정성껏 모은 이웃돕기 성금 570만 원을 설악면행정복지센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이번 성금은 미사리마을주민 20여명이 십시일반 모은 성금 370만 원과 미사리마을회에서 성금 200만 원을 기탁하여 총 570만 원이 모이게 됐다고 했다.

전종학 미사리이장은 “설 명절을 맞이하여 이웃돕기 성금을 기탁하게 되었는데 어르신들에게 추운 겨울 조금이나마 따뜻함을 전할 수 있기를 바란다. 앞으로도 지역사회를 위해 할 수 있는 일들을 찾아 열심히 활동하겠다.”고 말했다.

이범주 설악면장은 “설악면의 28개리 중에서 미사리가 앞장서서 이웃사랑을 실천해주셔서 감사드리며 지역사회 기부문화 확산에 귀감이 될 것 같다.”며 “온정의 손길이 설악면 곳곳에 전달될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
