노후 농업기계 폐차 지원사업은 미세먼지특별대책위원회에서 경유 사용 농업기계가 미세먼지 관리 계획에 포함됨에 따라 2021년도 시범사업 시행을 거쳐 올해부터 본격적으로 실시하는 신규 지원사업으로,

2013년 이전 생산된 경유용 트랙터·콤바인을 조기폐차 시 제조년도 및 규격에 맞게 보조금을 차등 지급하게 된다고 했다.

신청대상은 농업경영체를 등록한 농업인 및 농업법인으로서 소유한 농기계에 대해서 신청이 가능하며, 해당농기계의 융자금 상환 완료 및 보조금 신청일 전 6개월 이상 소유에 대해 증명 가능하고, 신청일 기준 농협 면세유관리시스템에 등록된 시동·운전이 가능한 정상가동 되는 농기계여야 한다고 전했다.

지원금액은 농기계의 제조년도 및 규격에 따라 트랙터는 100만 원부터 2249만 원까지, 콤바인은 100만 원부터 916만 원까지 차등 지급한다고 했다.
