[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시정부가 쌀 적정 생산을 위해 벼 재배면적 감축 협약 신청 접수 홍보에 나서고 있다고 밝혔다.

벼 재배면적 감축협약 신청 대상은 지난 2021년도 벼를 재배한 논에 논콩 등 타작물을 재배하거나 휴경을 이행한 농업경영체 등록 농업인 또는 법인이며, 신청은 오는 5월 31일까지 농지소재지 읍면동 행정복지센터를 방문해 하면 되고 감축협약 참여 농가는 공공비축미 추가 배정, 논콩 비축시 농가 희망 물량 전량 매입 등 다양한 혜택이 주어진다고 했다.

춘천시정부 관계자는 “쌀 적정생산을 위해서는 적정 재배면적을 유지하고, 표준 파종량 및 적정 시비량 준수, 고품질쌀 품종 재배가 필요하다”라고 강조했다.
