신청대상은 농업경영체에 등록된 농업인 또는 농업법인이며, 지난해 벼를 재배한 논에 ‘22년 타작물을 재배하거나 휴경을 계획하는 농지가 있으면 신청할 수 있으며, 벼 재배면적 감축을 이행한 농가에는 감축 실적에 따라 ha당 공공비축미 150포(40㎏ 기준)추가 배정, 두류 매입비축, 농림축산식품부 사업 가점 등의 혜택이 주어지고, 신청을 희망하는 농업인 또는 농업법인은 농지소재지 읍·면사무소로 신분증을 지참하여 방문하면 감축 협약 신청할 수 있다고 전했다.

군 관계자는 “쌀 적정 생산 및 수급 안정화를 위하여 농업인, 농업법인, 농협 등 관련 기관의 적극적인 참여와 협조”를 당부했다.
