[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 23일 동두천시정신건강복지센터 부설 자살예방센터는 중앙동행정복지센터와 정신건강을 위한 사회적 안전망 구축을 내용으로 업무협약을 체결하고, 생명사랑마을 조성 사업의 일환인‘살리GO! 홈즈’현판식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

‘살리GO! 홈즈’사업은 고시원, 숙박업소 등 비주택 지역 사업주들이 자살고위험군 거주자를 발견할 경우 즉시 자살예방센터에 의뢰하여 정신건강상담서비스를 연계하는 지역사회 기반의 협력 시스템이라고 했다.

이번 협약에서는 비주택 거주자 중 자살고위험군을 적극적으로 조기 발견하여 상담 및 치료 프로그램을 제공하는 등 사회적 안전망을 촘촘하게 구축해 지역사회를 생명사랑마을로 조성하는데 뜻을 모았다고 했다.

동두천시자살예방센터는 추후 관내 비주택 지역 16곳에 현판을 추가 설치할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
