[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 민선8기 태백시 인수위원회가 9일 태백문화예술회관에서 인수위원회 현판식을 열고 본격적인 활동에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

태백문화예술회관에 마련된 인수위 사무실에서 이날 인수위원장에 김천수 의원을 임명하는 등 10명으로 인수위를 구성한 뒤 현판식을 열었다고 했다.

이날 현판식에는 이상호 태백시장 당선인과 김천수 인수위원장 및 위원, 임성원 태백시 부시장 등이 참석했다고 전했다.

인수위원회는 9일부터 본격 운영에 들어가 민선8기 임기 시작전까지 민선8기 출범을 위한 시정의 정책 기조를 설정하기 위한 준비와 민선8기 시정목표 방침 수립 등의 업무를 추진할 예정이라고 했다.

인수위원회 관계자는 “민선8기 출범의 열심히 일하는 발전적인 태백시를 위해 위원 전원이 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
