[김택곤 기자=영월군] 영월군은 11월 16일부터 내년 3월 15일까지 4개월간 겨울철 자연재난 종합대책 기간을 운영 대설∙한파에 대한 사전대비책을 마련했음은 물론, 시가지 인도 신속 기동 제설반을 운영하여 주민 불편 최소화 및 인명피해를 사전 예방하겠다고 밝혔다.

군도 및 농어촌도로 104개 노선뿐만 아니라, 시가지, 마을안길 등 생활 밀접 지역에 대한 강설시 제설작업을 위하여 덤프트럭(15톤,제설기,살포기) 11대, 백호우 4대 등 총 40여 대의 제설장비를 임차하여 폭설 및 도로결빙 등에 신속히 대처하는 등 피해 대비에 만전을 기할 방침이다.

아울러, 한파와 대설 특보시 재난안전대책본부 및 TF팀을 운영해 취약계층 보호 활동과 농축수산 시설물 피해 예방, 원활한 교통소통을 위해 총력을 기울일 계획이며, 2021년 겨울철부터 운영하여 주민들로부터 호평을 받고 있는 신속기동 제설반을 지속적으로 운영, 주요 시가지 일원 인도, 보행로 등 제설작업을 통한 어르신, 어린이 등 교통약자에 대한 보행사고 예방에도 힘쓸 계획이다
