[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  횡성군은 여름철 물놀이 시즌을 앞두고 15년 연속 물놀이 인명사고 제로화 달성을 위해 전담T/F팀을 구성하고, 비상근무체제에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

군은 지난 6월 1일부터 오는 8월 31일까지 물놀이 안전관리대책기간으로 지정하였으며, 횡성군 재난안전과 사회재난팀 외 읍·면 직원으로 전담T/F팀을 구성해 물놀이 지역 전담관리제 운영에 들어갔다고 했다. 

안전관리대책기간 중에는 물놀이 중점관리지역에 안전관리요원을 배치하여 구명조끼 무료대여 및 물놀이객 안전관리를 실시하는 한편, 자율방재단, 의용소방대 등 관내 유관기관과 함께 위험구역을 포함한 물놀이 지역 순찰을 통해 물놀이 사고 예방 활동을 전개한다고 했다..

또한 이에 앞서, 관내 물놀이 지역 전수조사를 실시하였으며 인명구조함 등 안전시설물 교체, 현수막 설치, 물놀이 안전관리 유관기관 협업체계 구축 등 물놀이 안전 확보에 만전을 기했다고 전했다.
