김밥천국 동두천점은 지난 2016년부터 동두천시 착한식당에 동참하여 매월 식사 대접으로 나눔을 실천하며 어려운 이웃을 위한 다양한 봉사활동을 전개해 오고 있으며, 이번 업무협약은 불현동 복지위기가구 지원을 위해 추진되었고, 김밥천국은 매월 1회 불현동 지역사회보장협의체에서 추진하는 ‘사랑의 밑반찬’사업의 수행 업체로 참여하여 밑반찬과 각종 계절 음식을 제공하고 불현동 착한식당으로 등록하여 취약계층에 월 1회 음식 쿠폰을 지원할 예정이라고 전했다.
