1회용품은 코로나 19로 인해 식품접객업 '카페, 일반음식점, 집단급식소, 목욕장, 휴게음식점, 체육시설 등' 매장 내에서의 사용이 한시적으로 허용됐지만, 1회용품 사용규제(무상제공금지 및 사용억제) 제외대상 고시 개정으로 오는 4월 1일부터 다시 사용금지 되며, 또한 올해 11월 24일부터는 1회용 종이컵, 플라스틱 빨대 및 젓는 막대 등이 규제 대상에 추가돼 식품접객업에서 사용이 금지된다고 전했다.

군은 오는 4월 중으로 관내 식품접객업 1,953개소에 안내문을 발송하고, 읍․면 주민센터 등에 홍보 안내문을 게시하는 등 집중 홍보 기간을 갖으며, 이어 오는 4월 1일부터는 수시 현장점검을 벌여 1회용품 사용 금지를 위반한 사업장은 그 규모에 따라 최대 300만 원 과태료가 부과될 수 있다고 했다. 

신성철 자원순환과장은 “1회용품 사용규제와 관련하여 홈페이지, 읍․면 각종 회의 시 지속적으로 홍보할 계획” 이라며 “1회용품 줄이기가 생활화될 수 있도록 적극 협조해주시기 바란다” 라고 말했다.
