[남상훈 기자 = 고성군] 24일 고성군은 2022년 국토교통부 공모사업인 도시재생 예비사업으로 선정된 ‘해양심층수 오호! 베이커리’가 제품 개발 품평회를 고성 해양심층수산업 고성진흥원 1층 오호, 베이커리 & 커피 카페에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 품평회는 도시재생 예비사업 성공 기반 마련 운영에 따라 개최하게 됐다. 고성군 오호리 마을은 지역 특화자원인 해양심층수를 활용한 경제적, 물리적, 공동체 및 도시경쟁력 회복을 목표로 하고 있다.

이에, 개발된 제품은 주민협의체를 중심으로 설립된 마을관리협동조합이 ‘오호, 베이커리 & 커피 카페’를 운영하며 판매될 계획이다. 

한편, 본 도시재생 예비사업을 위해 지역주민들은 5개월간의 도시재생 대학 수업 및 해양심층수 1번지 베이커리 학교 교육과정을 이수하고 고성진흥원 1층을 오호, 베이커리 & 커피 카페로 리모델링했다.
