[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 오는 13일~ 24일까지 학교와 유치원 집단급식소를 대상으로 합동 점검에 나선다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 학교·유치원의 식중독 발생을 사전 예방하고, 학생들에게 안전한 급식 제공을 위해 시 보건소와 교육지원청이 함께 나선다.

대상은 전체 학교·유치원 급식소 34곳 중 21곳으로 나머지 13곳은 가을학기에 점검할 예정이다.

점검반은소비기한유통기한 경과제품 사용·보관, 위생적 취급 및 시설기준 준수, 조리종사자 개인위생 관리, 식재료 구입·보관 등 단계별 위생 관리 등을 살펴본다.

아울러, 식중독 발생 우려가 있는 급식용 조리 도구와 조리 식품 등은 수거·검사해 식중독균 오염 여부를 확인한다.

최기순 예방관리과장은 “지난해 학교급식을 비롯해 동해시에서 발생한 식중독은 없었다”며, “올해도 안전한 급식 제공과 위생 환경 개선 유도를 통해 식중독 예방에 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
