[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 가을 단풍 등 나들이 철을 맞아 사람들이 밀집할 것으로 예상되는 장소인 국립공원, 유원지, 터미널 내에서 영업하는 식품접객업소의 위생 및 안전 강화를 위해 오는 4일부터 7일까지 위생관리 실태를 선제적으로 집중 점검한다고 밝혔다.

주요 점검사항은 유통기한 경과제품 판매·사용 여부, 음식물 재사용 여부, 식품의 위생적 취급 여부, 냉장·냉동식품 보관온도 준수 여부, 건강진단 실시 여부 등 위생관리 전반이다.  

점검 결과 경미한 위반 행위의 현지 지도 및 경미한 사항이라도 고의, 상습적 위반 여부 등 중대한 사항이 적발될 경우 고발 조치를 단행하는 등「식품위생법」에 따라 엄격히 처분할 방침이다. 

속초시 보건소 노화숙 위생의약과장은 “이번 점검을 통해 다중이용시설을 이용하는 많은 시민과 관광객에게 언제 어디서나 위생적이고 안전한 식품이 제공되는 신뢰 환경이 정착될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
