[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 19일 동두천시는 동두천경찰서, 동두천시 청소년유해환경감시단과 합동으로 휴가철 청소년 유해환경 감시활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 활동은 휴가철 생활주변 청소년유해업소에 대해 유관 기관과 합동 점검 및 단속을 실시하고, 코로나19 대응과 관련하여 현장 계도를 하기 위해 추진됐으며 경찰서, 청소년유해환경감시단 등 유관기관 총 16명이 참여하였다고 했다. 

특히, 청소년 보호를 위한 캠페인 및 계도활동과 함께 청소년 출입·고용금지  위반행위, 청소년 출입금지표시 미부착, 청소년대상 유해약물 판매금지표시 미부착 등을 집중적으로 단속하였고, 코로나19 확산에 따라 마스크 착용 등 단계별 방역수칙 준수여부를 점검하였다고 했다.

동두천시와 동두천시청소년유해환경감시단은 관내 청소년이 많이 모이는 번화가 등에서 청소년보호법 위반행위를 점검하는 등 청소년보호를 위한 활동을 지속적으로 전개해 나갈 계획이라고 했다.
