이번에 모집하는 매입 임대주택은 경기주택도시공사가 다가구 등의 기존주택을 매입하여 개·보수한 후 저소득층에게 저렴하게 임대하는 주택으로 2년 단위로 9회까지 재계약하여 최장 20년까지 거주 가능하다고 했다.

1순위는 생계·의료급여 수급자, 한부모가족, 수급자 또는 차상위계층 중 소득 대비 임차료 비율 30% 이상 또는 최저주거기준 미달 가구, 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균 소득의 70% 이하인 장애인, 만 65세 이상인 수급자·차상위계층이며, 2순위는 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균 소득의 50% 이하인 자, 전년도 도시근로자 가구당 월평균 소득의 100% 이하인 장애인 가구가 해당한다고 말했다.
