[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5월 2일 캠코(한국자산관리공사) 서울동부지역본부는 소속직원과 가족들이 제작한「사랑나눔 에코백&간식꾸러미」120개를 사단법인 ‘따뜻한 하루’에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 캠코가 후원하는 지역내 작은 도서관인 캠코브러리* 아동들에게 어린이날 즐거운 추억을 만들어주기 위해 추진됐다고 했다. 

* 캠코브러리는 ‘캠코(KAMCO)’와 ‘도서관(Library)’의 합성어로, 캠코가 어린이ㆍ청소년 학습환경 개선과 독서활동 지원을 위해 지역아동센터 내 노후 공간을 리모델링해 작은 도서관을 마련해주는 캠코의 대표적 교육 사회공헌활동임

이를 위해 캠코 직원 및 직원 가족 91명은 직접 바느질과 채색을 통해 행사에 필요한 ‘사랑나눔 에코백’ 제작에 참여했다고 전했다. 

아울러 캠코 창립 60주년을 맞아 우리 사회의 올바른 청렴문화를 조성하고, 자라나는 새싹들에게 올바른 청렴의식을 심어주기 위해 청렴로고를 부착한 ‘간식꾸러미’도 함께 준비했다고 했다. 

이날 캠코가 전달한 에코백과 간식꾸러미는 오는 5월 5일 어린이날을 맞아 캠코브러리가 있는 지역아동센터 소속 어린이 등 120명에게 나눠줄 예정이라고 전했다. 

장성수 캠코 서울동부지역본부장은 “작은 정성이지만, 미래의 주역인 어린이들에게 즐거운 어린이날 선물로 추억되길 바란다”며, “올해 창립 60주년을 맞은 캠코는 앞으로도 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 캠코 서울동부지역본부는 시각장애인용 점자도서 제작, 에너지 취약계층 주거에너지 효율화 사업, 선선한 여름․따뜻한 겨울나기 물품 지원, 사랑나눔 텀블러 제작 등 다양한 나눔 활동을 이어가고 있다고 전했다.
