[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 오는 10월까지 관내 안심학교 3개소 2,556명을 대상으로 알레르기 질환 예방 비대면 교육을 실시한다.

아토피·천식 안심학교란 아토피피부염, 천식, 알레르기비염 등 알레르기 질환이 있는 학생이 학교에서 건강하게 생활하고 학습할 수 있도록 지원하는 학교 중심의 예방관리 프로그램이다.

이에, 시는 코로나19 지역사회 감염을 차단하기 위해 대표적인 알레르기 질환인 아토피·천식에 대한 예방관리 교육을 10월까지 비대면으로 운영한다.

특히, 학생들의 흥미유발과 인식개선을 위해 교육영상으로 ‘알레르기타임즈’,‘알레르기 비염탐정사무소’,‘아토피피부염 초성퀴즈’등 시청각자료를 교실에서 시청하게 되며, 가정 내에서 보호자와 연계교육이 이뤄질 예정이다.

채병창 보건정책과장은 “어린이들이 교육 자료를 통해 아토피 피부염 예방관리의 중요성에 대해 쉽고 재미있게 배울 수 있는 시간이 되길 바란다”며, “알레르기 질환 조기진단과 꾸준한 관리로 학생들이 즐겁고 건강한 생활 습관을 지닐 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
