[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시 평생교육원 시립도서관은 비대면으로 도서를 대출할 수 있는 스마트도서관 및 도서예약대출 서비스를 운영 중이라고 밝혔다. 

도서관은 코로나19가 점점 확산되는 상황에서 책을 빌리고 싶지만 빌리지 못하는 시민들을 위해 비대면으로 책을 빌릴 수 있도록 지행역 4번 출구에 스마트도서관을 설치·운영하고 꿈나무정보도서관 무인대출기를 통해 도서예약대출 서비스를 제공하고 있다고 했다. 

스마트도서관은 도서관 운영 시간과 상관없이 비치도서 중 원하는 책을 선택하여 비대면으로 즉시 대출하고 반납할 수 있는 서비스를 제공하며, 동두천시 도서관 회원은 1인당 3권씩 14일간 빌릴 수 있고, 연장은 안되지만 재대출이 가능하고, 또한 도서예약대출 서비스는 동두천시 도서관 회원의 경우 시립도서관 및 꿈나무정보도서관 1관당 3권씩 6권을 신청할 수 있으며, 신청 후 안내문자를 확인하여 꿈나무정보도서관에 설치된 도서예약대출기를 통해 비대면으로 도서대출이 가능하다고 전했다. 

신청방법은 도서관 홈페이지 '나의도서관-도서예약대출' 메뉴에서 신청할 수 있고 월요일~일요일, 08:00~22:00까지 꿈나무정보도서관 현관 앞 도서예약대출기에서 신청한 도서를 수령하면 된다고 했다. 

도서관 관계자는 “비대면 도서 대출서비스는 시간이나 공간의 제약 없이 책을 빌릴 수 있는 시스템으로, 이를 적극 활용한다면 보다 많은 시민들이 책과 가까이 할 수 있는 접근점이 될 것으로 기대한다”라고 전했다.
