[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 12일 의정부시 서부새마을금고는 설 명절을 맞아 쌀 20kg 40포와 라면 50상자를 녹양동주민센터에 기부했다고 밝혔다.

의정부서부새마을금고는 지역 내 취약계층에게 도움을 주고자 지속적인 나눔 활동을 하는 등 지역사회에 관심과 온정을 쏟으며 사회에 공헌하고 있고, 이날 사랑의 좀도리운동 전달식에는 윤만행 이사장을 비롯한 의정부서부새마을금고 임직원들과 이미현 녹양동장, 현호준 녹양동주민자치회회장 등이 참석했다고 했다.

윤만행 이사장은 “회원들의 따뜻한 마음이 잘 전달돼 설 명절을 앞둔 소외된 이웃들에게 조금이나마 위로가 되길 바라며 앞으로도 나눔 실천을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
