[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일 포천시는 시정회의실에서 ‘2021년 산정호수 명성산 억새꽃 축제 집행위원회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에는 박윤국 포천시장과 양대종 산정호수 억새꽃 축제집행위원장을 비롯해 총 22명의 위원이 참석하여 위촉장을 수여하고 축제 계획과 각 위원들의 의견을 공유하는 등 코로나 시대에 대응하는 축제 운영 방안에 대해 논의했다고 했다.

양대종 위원장은 “코로나19 감염확산 방지를 위해 축제를 성대하게 진행하기는 어렵겠지만 코로나19로 지친 사람들의 마음을 위로할 수 있는 행사가 되길 바란다.”고 전했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “억세꽃 축제가 가을 행사에 머무르지 않고 겨울까지 이어 갈 수 있도록 시와 지역주민이 함께 다양한 방안을 연구하고 노력해 나가겠다.”고 말했다. 

한편, ‘2021년 산정호수 명성산 억새꽃 축제’는 ‘가을 억새, 그리고 겨울’이라는 주제로 10월 9일부터 내년 2월 13일까지 산정호수 조각공원·둘레길 일원에서 사회적 거리두기 기준에 맞춰 온·오프라인으로 진행될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
