[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 아이와 부모, 보육교직원 모두 만족하는 양질의 보육·양육 서비스 제공을 위해 10월 4일부터 동해시 국공립 아델리움어린이집을 신규 개원·운영한다고 밝혔다.

아델리움어린이집은 동해시 6번째 국공립 어린이집으로, 리모델링 공사를 통해 보육실 4, 유희실 1, 화장실 2, 교사실 및 원장실, 조리실을 갖춰 지상1층, 연면적 256㎡, 정원 32명 규모로 조성됐다. 

이에따라, 지난 2019년 이후 전체 어린이집 61개소 가운데 국공립어린이집은 6개소로 늘어났으며 설치율과 동일한 비율인  9.8%로 증가했다.

또, 어린이집 노후시설개선사업 대상을 당초 4개소에서 7개소로 확대 하는 등 안전하고 쾌적한 보육환경을 조성해 나갈 방침이다. 

조훈석 가족과장은 “국공립어린이집 확충, 어린이집 환경개선사업을 비롯한 필요경비 및 인건비 지원사업 등 안전한 보육환경 조성을 위한 인프라 구축에 만전을 기하겠다”고 전했다.
