[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 현재 용역 추진 중인 경관계획 재정비(안)에 대한 시민 및 관계 전문가 등의 폭넓은 의견청취를 위해, 오는 27일 평생교육센터 대강당에서 공청회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

경관계획은 향후 동해시가 지향해야 하는 경관관리의 기본방향과 목표를 설정하고, 동해시가 보유하고 있는 자연, 역사, 문화자원 등에 대한 체계적인 관리·보존 방안의 중·장기 계획을 제시하게 된다고 했다.

특히, 이번 경관계획 재정비는 도시변화에 대응하고, 경관 균형유지방안 마련을 위해 중점경관관리권역을 설정하는 것이 특징이며, 또, 경관사업·경관협정, 경관가이드라인, 경관심의 등 경관관리의 실행력을 높이기 위한 세부 가이드라인도 설정하게 된다고 했다.

공청회는 경관계획 재정비(안) 주요 내용발표, 전문가 토론, 질의응답 순으로 진행될 예정이며, 전문가 토론에는 강원대학교 박훈 교수가 주재자를 맡으며, 토론자로는 어반플랫폼(주) 김형구 대표소장을 비롯해 경관에 전문성을 갖춘 3명으로 구성됐다고 했다.

이번 공청회는 코로나19 거리두기로 인해 참석인원을 49명으로 제한하며, 시는 공청회 참석을 못하는 시민들을 위해 「동해시 유튜브」 채널을 통해 실시간 및 녹화방송을 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

경관계획 재정비에 대해 의견이 있는 경우 오는 2월 10일까지 이메일을 통해 의견을 제출하면 되고,기타 자세한 사항은 동해시 홈페이지 고시/공고란을 참조하면 된다고 전했다.
