[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 말일부로 양주소방서는 의용소방대 생활안전전문대 운영이 마무리 되었다고 밝혔다.

올해 6월부터 9월까지 4개월간 생활안전전문대는 벌집제거 및 각종 비긴급 생활안전 출동을 담당했고, 원활하고 안전한 현장활동을 위해 장비사용법, 안전 확보요령 등을 숙지하고 벌 알레르기 검사를 완료했다고 전했다.

생활안전전문대 운영기간동안 총 20명의 의용소방대원들이 171건의 출동을 안전하게 수행하여 지역 시민들의 편의와 안전을 확보하고 119소방대원들의 출동공백을 방지했다고 밝혔다.
