[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군은 오는 12일까지 '평생교육 중장기 발전계획' 수립을 위한 평생학습 설문조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 설문조사는 군민의 삶의 질 향상과 주민 밀착형 평생 학습 추진을 위해 군민의 다양한 의견을 수렴하여 양양군 평생교육 중장기 발전계획에 반영하기 위해 마련됐으며 양양군민과 공무원, 평생교육기관 관계자를 대상으로 진행되는 이번 설문조사는 온라인과 오프라인을 병행하여 실시한다. 

설문내용은 군민의 경우 평생학습 인식 및 실태, 평생학습 참여 요구, 평생학습 정책 기대 등에 대해 진행하고, 평생교육기관 관계자의 경우 평생학습 운영현황, 유네스코 평생학습도시 핵심특성지표 진단 등 항목에 대해 실시하며 공무원의 경우 평생학습 정책 기대 등 27개 항목에 대해 설문이 진행된다.

설문조사 참여는 양양군청 홈페이지에서 참여할 수 있으며, 궁금한 사항은 양양군 평생학습관로 문의하면 자세한 설명과 안내를 받을 수 있고 군은 이번 설문조사를 통해 수렴된 의견을 ‘양양군 평생교육 중장기 발전계획’에 반영하여 평생학습 정책 및 프로그램 운영과 지원 방향 등 군민이 주도하는 평생학습 기초자료로 활용할 계획이다.

이순애 교육가족과장은 “이번 설문조사를 통해 군민이 요구하는 평생교육의 방향을 설정해 주민밀착형 평생학습을 추진할 계획”이라며, “군민들의 의견을 적극 반영해 군민이 만족할 수 있는 평생학습 서비스를 제공하도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다. 

한편, 양양군은 지난 4월 19일, ‘양양군 여성회관’을 ‘양양군 평생학습관“으로 명칭을 변경하고 개관식을 가졌다. 이후 다양한 교육프로그램 운영과 취․창업 지원, 보육 등 안정적이고 주민친화적인 학습 서비스를 지원함을 물론, 평생학습도시 선정을 위해 체계적으로 기반을 다져가고 있다.
