[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 13일까지 원주시는 청소년 및 원주시민을 대상으로 북부권 청소년문화의집 건립을 위한 설문조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

북부권 청소년문화의집은 2024년 6월 구 캠프롱 부지에 준공 예정이며, 총 3층 규모로 건립될 예정이라고 전했다.

아동·청소년의 교육, 문화, 여가활동 공간으로 활용되는 청소년문화의집은 현재 원주에 3개소(중앙·원주·문막청소년문화의집)가 있으나 태장동·소초면 등을 포함한 북부권 지역에는 관련 시설이 없어 필요성이 대두되고 있었다고 했다.

이에 시는 설문조사를 통해 청소년과 시민의 의견을 수렴하고 청소년시설 건립을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 방침이라고 전했다.

설문조사는 총 23문항으로, 청소년수련시설 이용 경험 여부, 필요 시설 등 건립 관련, 희망 프로그램 등을 조사하며, 시청 홈페이지를 통해 실시한다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “청소년에게 건전한 여가활동과 휴식 장소를 마련하고, 지역 간 균형발전을 위해 추진하는 북부권 청소년문화의집의 성공적인 건립을 위해 청소년(9~24세) 및 시민분들의 많은 참여를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
