[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시(박상수 시장)가 시민들에게 다양하고 폭넓은 평생학습의 기회를 제공하기 위해 관내 평생교육 기관·단체의 특성화 사업 발굴 및 운영 지원에 나섰다.

지원대상은 삼척시에 소재를 둔 비영리 기관 및 단체로, ▲지역자원을 활용한 평생교육 활성화 사업 ▲건강한 가정·사회육성 사업 ▲건전한 여가문화 형성과 사회 환원(봉사) 사업 ▲직업능력 향상 또는 학습형 일자리(소득) 창출 등 사업 분야에 대해 사업계획서를 제출하면 된다.

접수는 1월 9일부터 20일까지 2일간 삼척시 평생학습관 방문 또는 우편으로 신청 가능하며, 2월~3월 중 주관부서의 심사와 삼척시 지방보조금 심의위원회의 심사를 거쳐, 최종 선정 결과를 통보할 예정이다.

선정이 확정되면, 기관․단체의 특성을 반영하여 운영하고 평생교육 프로그램에 소요되는 필수 경비(강사료, 홍보비, 교재비, 재료비)를 지원 받을 수 있다.

한편, 삼척시는 매년 평생교육 기관․단체 특성화 사업 지원 및 네트워크 활성화로 촘촘한 교육복지를 실현하고 있다.
