[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 오는 8월 2일부터 중·장년층 직무능력 제고를 위한 ‘조경기능사자격증 취득 과정’ 교육을 가평군 제2청사에서 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 이론부터 조경기능사 기출 문제 풀이 및 제도 실습을 통한 자격증 취득까지 적극적으로 연계하여, 중·장년층의 역량 강화와 전문 인력을 양성하는 것을 목표로 진행되며, 사전 모집공고를 통해 교육생 20명을 선발했다.
최근 관내 관광·조경 산업 분야의 활성화에 따른 조경업에 대한 관심과 종사자 수요가 증가함에 따라 교육생들의 취업 연계 가능성도 높아질 것으로 기대하고 있으며, 교육 종료 후 전문가로서의 활동을 적극 지원하고, 맞춤형 일자리 서비스를 지속적으로 제공 할 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 취업 교육을 통하여 제2의 인생 설계를 준비하는 중·장년층의 직무능력을 향상시켜 새로운 도약 및 재취업에 큰 도움이 되길 바란다”면서 앞으로도 다양한 취업프로그램을 개발·운영할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.
한편, 가평군일자리센터에서는 올해 상반기에도 청년층 및 경력단절여성 등 취업취약계층을 대상으로 ‘바리스타 2급 자격증 취득 과정’ 및 ‘경리회계 FAT 1급 자격증 취득 과정’ 등 취업 교육프로그램을 운영하여 33명의 수료생 중 17명을 관련 분야로 취업 연계하는 성과를 가져왔다.
