[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 4일부터, 가평군은 관내 청년층 '만18 ~ 39세'를 대상으로 '바리스타 자격증 취득과정' 교육을 가평군여성비전센터에서 4주간 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 다양한 커피문화의 지식과 커피의 기본 이론 및 실습을 통한 자격증 취득까지 적극적으로 연계하여, 청년층의 역량강화 및 전문 인력을 양성하는 것을 목표로 12회, 총100시간 교육과정으로 진행되며, 사전 모집공고를 통해 교육생 20명을 선발하였다고 했다. 

가평군 지역 특성을 고려한 청년층 맞춤형 취업 교육으로 최근 관내 관광·서비스 분야 업무의 활성화에 따른 커피 전문점 증가로 구인 수요가 늘어난 만큼 교육생들의 취업연계 가능성도 높아 질 것으로 기대하고 있으며, 교육생들의 직무역량 강화로 교육 종료 후 전문가로서의 활동을 적극 지원하기 위해 맞춤형 일자리 서비스를 연계할 계획이라고 전했다.    

군 관계자는 “이번 교육을 통하여 취업 경쟁력이 낮은 청년층의 안정적인 일자리 제공과 경제활동 참여 촉진을 통한 취업률이 향상 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
