[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 최근 정부에서 고령층의 위중증 및 사망 예방을 위해 60세 이상을 대상으로 코로나19 4차 백신접종을 실시하겠다고 발표함에 따라, 동두천시보건소는 지난 14일부터 60세(1962.12.31. 이전 출생자) 이상 시민을 대상으로 코로나19 4차 백신접종을 시작했다고 밝혔다.

사전예약은 코로나19 예방접종 사전예약 누리집과 국번없이 1339, 동두천시 콜센터, 동 행정복지센터를 통해 예약 가능하고, 또한, 코로나19 확진자의 예방접종 권고기준이 개정되어 기존 코로나19 확진 이력이 있는 경우에도 접종 대상군에 해당되면 3차 및 4차접종이 가능하며, 본인 희망에 따라 mRNA(화이자·모더나) 백신 및 노바백스 백신을 선택해서 접종받을 수 있다고 했다.

보건소 관계자는 “신규 변이 바이러스 발생 및 추가 감염 위험성 등을 고려하여 60세 이상 시민들의 코로나19 4차 예방접종에 적극 동참해 달라”고 당부했다.
