이날 협약식에는 박윤국 포천시장을 비롯해 백남순 포천병원 원장, 장진 우리병원 원장, 조유현 포천시의사회 회장, 박명춘 포천시간호사협회장, 정연오 포천시 보건소장을 비롯해 10여 명이 참석했다.

이번 협약에 따라 포천시와 의료기관‧단체는 정부의 백신공급과 예방접종 시기에 맞춰 코로나19 백신접종이 차질 없이 시행되도록 추진해 나갈 예정이다. 

포천시는 예방접종에 대한 관련 정보를 지역 의료단체에 신속하게 제공하며 의료단체와 함께 예방접종 홍보와 의료인력 교육 등을 실시하는 한편, 의료단체는 시민이 안전하고 신속한 접종을 받을 수 있도록 예방접종에 참여하고 의사, 간호사 등 의료 인력을 지원해 나갈 방침이다.
