양주1동 감동365추진협의체는 올 한 해 코로나19 백신접종을 위해 거동이 불편한 어르신의 이동을 돕는 지원활동, 사람 밀집 장소인 양주역과 근처 버스정류소 방역활동, 코로나19 백신접종 독려 캠페인, 한가위 맞이 이발 봉사 등 시민 감동을 위한 다양한 활동을 펼쳤다고 했다.

홍성표 위원장은 “코로나19로 대면활동이 제한되어 어려움이 많았지만, 이번 위기를 기회로 삼아 감동양주 실현을 위한 다양한 활동을 성공적으로 마무리해 보람찬 한 해가 될 수 있어 다행이다”라고 전했다.

신영균 양주1동장은 “어려운 상황 속에서도 멈추지 않고 지속적으로 활동해준 협의체 덕분에 감동 양주1동이 되었다”며 “내년에는 위드 코로나 시대에 맞는 시책을 함께 개발해 추진했으면 하는 바람이다”라고 말했다.
