[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시 치매안심센터에서는 치매를 예방하고 관리하고자 ‘치매고위험군 집중관리 프로그램’을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.

‘치매고위험군 집중관리 프로그램’은 신청일로부터 1년 동안 집중 관리하는 것으로 작년 7월부터 운영 중이며, 치매고위험군 집중관리 프로그램 대상자로는 경도인지장애, 만75세 이상 독거, 노인부부가 해당된다고 했다.

신청 대상자들은 예약일시에 따라 코로나19 방역 수칙 아래 치매안심센터를 방문하여 치매예방 물품을 수령하며 방법을 교육받고, 이에 따라 치매고위험군을 체계적으로 관리하기 위하여 1, 2분기에 이어 인지필사집, 치매예방퍼즐, 유산균 2통을 3분기에도 제공하고 유선학습 안내 및 관리를 강화할 예정이며, 치매고위험군 프로그램과 관련한 문의사항은 동두천시보건소 치매안심센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

치매안심센터 관계자는 “치매 고위험군 어르신의 증상 악화와 돌봄에 공백이 생기지 않도록 다양한 방안을 마련하는데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
