아울러 성묘객의 불편을 최소화하기 위하여 설연휴 전·후 미리 성묘하기, 보건복지부 e하늘추모·성묘서비스를 통한 온라인 성묘도 이용 가능함을 안내하는 등 추모객들의 불편함을 최소화할 계획이라고 전했다.

지난 2019년 10월 가평읍 읍내리 산125번지에 조성된 공설 가평추모공원은 잔디장과 봉안담 등 총 약 5,100기를 안치할 수 있는 규모로 조성된 친환경 장사시설로, 전문적인 운영관리를 통해 유가족에게 편리하고 신뢰받는 도심 속 공원형 장사시설로 큰 호응을 얻고 있다고 밝혔다.
