[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군은 추석을 앞두고 성묘객 편의를 위해 임도변 정비를 실시한다.

임도변 정비는 임도관리원을 활용하여 46개 노선 111.45km에 걸쳐 임도변 풀베기와 노면 정비를 진행 중이다. 그중 23개 노선 60km는 추석 전 입산하는 성묘객을 위해 이미 임도변 풀베기등 정비를 완료하였으며, 나머지 노선은 추석 전까지 정비를 완료할 계획이다.

전형복 산림녹지과장은 “추석을 앞두고 조상의 묘소를 찾는 성묘객 편의를 위해 임도변 풀베기와 노면 정비를 추진하게 되었다”며 “지속적인 임도 관리를 통해 군민들과 고향 방문객들이 안전하고 즐거운 추석을 보낼 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
