범죄피해자 김모씨는 범죄로 인해 직장을 나가지 못하고 생활에 어려움을 겪고 있는데 경찰서에서 경제적 지원을 하겠다는 전화를 받고 놀라지 않을 수 없었고, 경찰의 경제적 지원이 마음을 추스르는데 많은 위안이 되고 있다며 세심하게 배려해 주는 경찰에 대해 감사의 인사를 아끼지 않았다고 했다.
