[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군과 가평축협이 축산농가를 돕기 위해 한우소비촉진 할인행사를 개최한다고 8일 밝혔다.

두 기관에 따르면 경기침체에 따른 소비둔화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 축산농가와 소비자가 상생할 수 있는 기반 마련을 위해 8,9, 23일 총 3일에 걸쳐 한우․돼지고기 소비촉진을 위한 할인행사에 들어간다고 밝혔다. 

할인행사는 가평군청 주차장 내에 마련된 축산물 이동 판매차량에서 진행되며, 기존 판매가격 대비 축산물이 최대 50%이내 할인된 가격에 구입할 수 있다.

품목은 한우 등심․불고기․사태를 비롯해 돼지 삼겹살․목살․전지, 한우곰탕 등 가공품으로 판매시간은 오전 11시부터 오후 4시까지다.

앞서 군은 지난 해 11월 물가상승 등 민생경제 위기대응을 위해 군청 의회 앞마당에서 ‘찾아가는 로컬푸드 직매장’을 운영해 1천여만 원의 매출을 올리는 등 호응을 얻은바 있다.

소비자들은 햅쌀 등 농산물을 30% 할인된 가격으로 구매해 장바구니 부담을 덜기도 했다.

가평군 관계자는 “이번 할인행사를 통해 소비자에게 질 높은 고기를 저렴하게 제공하면서 고통받고 있는 축산농가에 많은 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
