[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 식품의약품안전처 주관 전국 기초 자치단체 228개 시군구 대상 식중독 예방관리 실적 평가에서 “2021년 식중독 예방관리 우수기관”에 선정되어 기관 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 식중독 발생관리율·원인식품 규명율·발생 신속보고율 ·모의훈련 참여도·예방 컨설팅실적 등 총 5개 지표에 걸쳐 심사평가했다고 전했다.

강릉시는 식중독 발생 취약시설 대상으로 여름철 식중독지수 문자알리미 서비스 등 교육과 홍보, 지도·점검으로 식중독 발생을 적극적으로 예방하고, 식중독 발생 모의훈련을 통해 담당 공무원의 현장 대응 역량을 강화하여 식중독 의심 환자 발생 시 신속한 출동능력 향상, 원인 규명, 관리 업무를 체계화 등으로 식중독 예방 및 저감화에 적극 노력했다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“이번 우수기관 표창 수상은 안전한 식생활 정착을 위해 식품접객업소 및 집단급식소의 식중독 예방과 위생관리를 철저히 한 결실이다. 앞으로도 식중독 제로화를 위하여 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
