[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2일 GH는 계속되는 폭염으로 인한 열병질환 등의 재해를 예방하고자 광주역세권 도시개발사업 내 현장노동자에게 냉방용품과 냉음료를 제공한다고 밝혔다.

GH는 현장노동자에게 쿨토시, 쿨이어마스크, 각얼음, 빙과류를 하절기 기간 동안 무상으로 제공하며, 또한 건설노동자가 더위를 극복할 수 있도록 Cool-Zone의 휴게공간을 마련할 계획이라고 전했다. 

한편 GH는 사업장에서 작업자별 건강관리 및 온도 체크를 실시하고 오후 1시~오후 3시까지 휴식시간제(Heat Break)를 운영하는 등 코로나-19 감염예방과 사고방지에 만전을 기하고 있다고 했다.

GH 이헌욱 사장은 “폭염극복과 더불어 현장노동자의 코로나-19 감염방지를 위해 전사적인 노력을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
