[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 25일 (사)양주시자원봉사센터는 시청 부시장실에서 양주시 SNS캐릭터 감동이와 함께 붕어빵과 고구마를 팔아 얻은 공동 수익금 80여만 원을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.

센터는 지난 1월 20일 겨울철 한파로 어려움을 겪는 지역 내 취약계층 지원을 위한 기금을 마련하기 위해 시청 앞 광장에서 붕어빵과 고구마를 굽는 기계를 설치하고 시민과 공무원을 상대로 판매했으며, 자원봉사센터 직원을 비롯한 양주시 홍보정책담당관 직원, 행사지원 자원봉사자 등 20여 명은 추운 날씨에도 나눔문화 확산을 위해 교대로 붕어빵과 고구마를 직접 정성스럽게 구웠다고 했다.
