[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김은혜 국민의힘 경기도지사 후보가 경기도 커리어우먼을 위해 한국노총 여성위원회와 동행한다고 전했다.

지난 5월 25일 한국노총 경기지역본부 여성위원회가 국민의힘 경기도당사에서 ‘일과 가정을 양립하는 여성 정책’ MOU를 맺고 김은혜 후보를 지지 선언했다고 밝혔다. 

최미라 한국노총 경기지역본부 여성위원회 위원장은 “김은혜 후보의 커리어우먼에 대한 경험과 이해에 공감한다”면서, “새로운 경기도를 만들기 위한 공약과 도정계획을 적극 지지하여 향후 경기발전을 위한 정책 소통과 협력을 선언한다”고 김 후보를 지지 선언했다.

최미라 위원장은 ‘일・가정 양립’을 위한 여성 정책을 개발·발전, 올바른 성 인식과 균형 있는 양성평등 문화 정착, 여성 문화 발전 및 개개인 권리 보호, 여성의 경력단절과 이로 인한 불이익 방지 등을 위해 김은혜 후보와 상호협력하기로 했다고 밝혔다.

이어 “여성의 일과 가정 양립을 위한 정책을 개발하고 실행할 수 있도록, 상호 신뢰와 협의를 통해 협력해 나갈 것”을 약속하며 김은혜 캠프와 정책 MOU를 맺어 신뢰를 공고히 했다. 

한편, 김 후보는 지난 5월 10일 여성의 날을 맞아 자신의 페이스북에 글을 올려 "여성의 건강한 성장을 지원하고, 성범죄와 폭력으로부터 안전한 경기도를 만들겠다"며 여성 공약을 발표한 바 있다고 전했다.
