[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해문화관광재단은 오는 26일 일본 시즈오카현 여행업협회와 관계자 25명을 대상으로 동해시 여행상품 발굴을 위한 홍보 팸투어에 나선다.

이들은 주요관광지인 논골담길, 도째비골 스카이밸리, 해랑전망대를 방문하고 자이언트 슬라이드 및 스카이사이클을 체험하고 추암해변의 절경을 감상할 예정이다.

이번 팸투어 외에도 동해시와 동해문화관광재단은 동남아시아 및 일본 등 해외 관광객 유치를 위하여 플라이강원과 MOU 체결을 준비하고 있다.

한편, 플라이강원은 강원도 지정여행사와 공동으로 협력하여 작년 4분기에 취항한 도쿄 나리타-양양 항공노선을 운행하고 있으며, 동해문화관광재단은 노선 및 동해시의 관광콘텐츠를 활용하여 동해지역 방한을 위한 여행상품 유치를 위해 박차를 가하고 있다.

심규언 동해문화관광재단 이사장은 “변화하는 여행 트렌드에 맞는 매력도시 동해시로 찾아오는 일본 관광객이 늘어날 수 있도록 적극 힘쓸 것”이라고 말했다.
