[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 24일, 평창읍 지역사회보장협의체와 용인시 원삼면과 상현2동 지역사회보장협의체는 상호협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 협약은 지역 간 상호 교류하여 복지자원을 발굴·확충하고, 지역사회보장협의체 운영 사업 공유와 복지 네트워크 구축을 위하여 상호협력 및 교류협정을 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

평창읍 지역사회보장협의체와 용인시 원삼면, 상현2동 지역사회보장협의체는 이번 협약을 계기로 지역사회 복지네트워크 구축을 위하여 년1회 이상 상호교류하고 복지자원 발굴과 협의체 운영 사업 정보를 공유하며 공통된 관심분야에 대하여 다각적으로 상호 협력하기로 했다고 전했다. 

평창읍 지역사회보장협의체 김종수 민간위원장은 "앞으로 적극적으로 소통하고 협력하여 지역사회 내 복지 자원의 효율적 활용체계를 조성하여 돌봄네트워크의 중요한 역할을 수행하겠다"고 말했다.

평창읍 지역사회보장협의체는 반올림 가게를 운영하여 판매수익금으로 지역의 저소득층 집수리나 생활을 적극적으로 지원하는 복지사업을 펼쳐 왔으며, 22년에는 고령자와 장애인 등 취약계층을 대상으로 이불빨래를 지원하기 위해 반올림 빨래방을 운영할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
