[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주소방서는 2024년 개관을 목표로 건립중인 국립소방박물관에 전시할 소방유물의 양적·질적 기반확립을 위해 소방유물의 수집 및 기증운동을 홍보한다고 밝혔다.

대상 유물은 차량, 문헌, 서적, 사진, 그림, 물품, 의복, 장비 등 소방차량부터 작은 배지까지 역사적 가치가 있다고 판단되는 소방유물 일체이라고 했다.

소방유물의 기증은 국민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 신청방법은 소방유물 자료관 홈페이지에서 신청서식을 다운받아 작성 후 우편 또는 이메일로 발송하면 되고, 그리고 유물 기증 절차 및 처리에 관한 자세한 내용은 소방유물 자료관 홈페이지 ‘소장유물 기증운동’ 항목에서 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.

소방유물 기증자에게는 기증증서 증정, 국립소방박물관 기증자 명예의 전당 및 박물관 공식 홈페이지 등재, 전시개막식 초청 등의 예우와 특전이 있을 예정이라고 했다.

박미상 양주소방서장은 “소방유물 수집을 통해 우리나라 소방의 역사와 활동을 재조명 할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 참여 바란다.”고 말했다.
