[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 18일 횡성루지체험장이 군민의 날을 맞이하여 특별 할인행사를 진행한다고 전했다.

이번 행사는 제15회 횡성 군민의 날 기념의 의미로 오는 18일부터 30일까지 실시되며, 횡성루지체험장을 방문하는 모든 이용객은 정상 요금의 30% 할인된 가격으로 체험을 즐길 수 있다고 했고 이번 주 중 방문이 예상되는 22618번째 고객에게는 횡성루지할인권과 금 1돈, 강원상품권 등을 제공하는 깜짝 이벤트도 진행한다고 밝혔다.

루지는 특별한 동력장치 없이 특수 제작된 카트를 타고 경사와 중력만을 이용해 트랙을 달리는 사계절 썰매이며 지난 2020년 8월 개장한 횡성루지체험장은 우천면 오원리-안흥리 전재 구간에 있는 옛 국도 42호선 폐도로에 총길이 2.4km로 조성되었고 이용 시간은 오전 9시 30부터 오후 5시 30까지로 이용에 관한 자세한 사항은 횡성루지홈페이지를 확인하거나 횡성루지체험장으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.
