[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 6일부터 20일까지 양주시 여성일·생활균형센터는 2021년 제3기 여성교육프로그램 수강생을 선착순으로 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 여성의 능력개발 기회 제공을 통한 전문인력 양성을 위해 2021년 9월 6일부터 12월 24일까지 총 16주 과정으로 마련했으며, 교육은 코로나19 감염 예방과 확산 방지를 위해 대면 집합강의와 비대면 온라인 강의를 병행한 블렌디드 교육 방식으로 진행된다고 했다.

모집대상은 접수일 현재 양주시에 주민등록이 돼 있는 만 18세 이상 여성이며 야간강좌의 경우에는 남성도 참여할 수 있고, 프로그램 수강인원은 기술·기능교육 25개 과정 231명, 취미·교양교육 3개 과정 27명 등 총 28개 과정 258명이라고 했다.

교육 과정은 양장기능사, 커피바리스타 등 자격증 취득과정인 기술·기능교육과 홈패션, 카페브런치 등 취미·교양교육으로 구성했다고 전했다.

특히 커피바리스타와 제과기능사 과정의 경우 야간에 진행되는 교육프로그램으로 여성 뿐만 아니라 남성도 참여할 수 있고, 신청을 희망하는 시민은 양주시 여성일·생활균형지원센터 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 접수하면 된다고 전했다.

센터 관계자는 “각 과정별 수강인원은 강의실 내 사회적 거리두기가 가능한 8~10명으로 제한돼 조기 마감될 수 있는 만큼 참여를 바라는 시민들은 신청을 서둘러 달라”며 “코로나19 장기화 상황 속에서 안전하고 건전한 여가활동의 기회를 누릴 수 있는 다양한 교육프로그램을 발굴해 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
