[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 21일, 평창군은 신규농업인과 귀농귀촌인 24명을 대상으로 신규농업인 기초영농교육 과정을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

신규농업인 기초영농교육은 기초영농기술을 기반으로 농업경영 마인드를 함양하고, 농업·농촌에 대한 이해 증진과 성공적인 농촌 정착을 돕기 위해 농업기술센터에서 진행되며 3월 21일 개강하여 오는 6월 13일까지 12회 53시간 진행된다고 전했다.

주요 교육내용은 '농촌의 이해', '농업기계 실습', '농업회계기초', '농업인 생활법률',  '성공사례 농가 현장견학' 등 농업·농촌생활에 필요한 12개 과정으로 진행될 예정이며, 성공적인 귀농 정착은 농업과 농촌사회를 이해하고 준비하는 과정이 반드시 필요하고, 귀농 교육을 통해 자신의 상황을 잘 파악하고 필요한 준비를 한다면 성공적으로 농촌생활에 정착할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

이상명 평창군농업기기술센터 소장은 “귀농귀촌인 및 신규농업인들이 평창군에 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”며, “이번 교육을 통해 신규농업인에게 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 교육 운영에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
