[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 21일부터, 횡성군이 3차 재난지원금 지급에 들어간다고 밝혔다. 

군은 코로나19 장기화 및 오미크론 변이 출현으로 군민이 겪는 경제적 고통이 크다고 판단하여, 지난 1월 26일 정례브리핑을 통해 3차 재난지원금 지급을 발표한 바 있다고 했다.

대상은 지난 2021년 12월 31일부터 신청일까지 횡성군에 주민등록을 두고 있는 주민으로, 2021년 연말 기준 군민 4만 6,481명이며, 1인당 20만원을 지급하고, 올해 출생한 아동(2022. 1~2월 출생신고 완료시)도 지급 대상에 포함된다고 전했다.

한편, 횡성군의 자체 재난지원금 지급은 이번이 세번째이며, 1차 재난기본소득(2020. 6.1.~10.23)은 1인당 20만원씩, 44,760명에게 지급하였고, 2차 재난기본소득(2020.9. 28.~2021.2.26.)은 1인당 10만원씩, 44,112명을 대상으로 지급하였으며, 1, 2차 모두 대상 인원 대비 96% 지급이 이뤄졌고, 지급액 대비 99% 사용 완료되었다고 했다.
