[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 26일, 횡성군이 전 군민을 대상으로 지급하는 3차 재난지원금의 지급률이 77%를 넘어선 것으로 나타났다고 밝혔다.

군은 코로나19 장기화 및 변이바이러스 출현으로 어려움을 겪는 지역 경제 활력 및 민생 안정을 위해, 지난 2월 21일부터 전 군민에게 1인당 20만 원씩 횡성군에서만 사용할 수 있는 선불카드로 ‘3차 재난지원금’지급에 들어갔고, 특히, 군민 편의 증진과 지급률 제고를 통한 지역 경제 훈풍 효과를 극대화하기 위해 신청 첫날인 지난 21일부터 사흘간 전 직원이 참여하는 ‘찾아가는 서비스’를 운영했다고 전했다.

‘찾아가는 서비스’ 운영 기간 동안 3차 재난지원금 발행액 92억 원의 59%에 해당하는 55억 8백만 원가량이 지급되었으며, 지난 2월 26일 기준 71억 6천 7백여만 원, 35,839명의 군민이 재난지원금을 수령한 것으로 집계됐고, 횡성군은 오는 3월 31일까지, ‘읍·면 전담 창구’를 계속 운영하며, 이번에 지급된 재난지원금은 올해 8월 31일까지 횡성군 지역에서 사용할 수 있다. 단, 온라인 결제나 유흥시설, 사행성 업종에서는 사용할 수 없다고 했다.
