[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 코로나 19 장기화로 경제적 어려움을 겪는 청년층의 주거비 부담 경감을 위해 청년월세 한시 특별지원 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

태백시는 올해 9천 280만 원을 투입해 64명을 대상으로 매월 20만원 씩 12개월 동안 주거비를 무상으로 지원할 계획이라고 전했다.

지원 대상은 부모님과 별도 거주하고 임차보증금 5,000만원, 월세 60만원 이하 주택에 거주하는 청년 만 19∼39세 이하 무주택 청년(전입신고 필수)으로 기준 중위소득 60% 이하이며 부모 포함 원가구의 소득기준도 기준 중위소득 100%이하여야 한다고 했다.

신청기간은 오는 4월부터 내년 4월까지이며, 신청방법은 월세지원 신청서, 소득 재산신고서, 임대차 계약증빙 서류 등의 제출서류를 갖춰 복지로 또는 주소지 관할 행정복지센터로 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 건축지적과 부동산행정팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “ 앞으로도 청년 가구 주거 안정과 지역 정착을 돕기 위해 다양한 시책을 발굴해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
