이번 의견수렴은 중대재해처벌법 제정 등 안전사고에 대한 불감증을 고취 시키고 현장의 목소리를 담아 맞춤형 안전강화를 실시 하기 위해서  GH가 발주하는 전체 건설현장을 대상으로 지난 2월부터 시행됐다고 밝혔다.

GH는 현장방문을 통해 시공사 직원과 건설사업관리기술인이 실제 근무하면서 느낀 경험과 개선 아이디어를 3월 말까지 접수하고, 이를 바탕으로 ‘맞춤형 현장안전 강화방안’을 마련할 계획이다라고 밝혔다.

한편, 제도 시행 이후 현재까지 ‘스마트 안전관리시스템 도입’, ‘현장안전 패트롤 강화’ 등 현장에서 효과를 낼 수 있는 다양한 의견들이 제시됐었다고 했다.

GH 홍철화 안전품질단장은 “탁상행정이 아니라 실제 건설현장에서 근무하는 직원들의 의견을 최대한 반영하여 맞춤형 현장 안전강화방안을 수립하고, 이를 통해 안전사고 없는 건설현장을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
